Great little study here, good sense of movement in this. Christiane, if I could make a humble suggestion here, I notice in your paintings your signature is sooo loud and large! I think it detracts from the beauty of your work and distracts the eye. If you shrunk your signature down, quite a bit so its not so obvious, I think the eye could enjoy your work much more....just a thought....Brian

Ya! I know. Some likes and some doesn't.In general in my painting I try to make my signature beeing a part of it as an element of the painting. You may not agreed. It's o.k I will think about it more. Around the woman there is a white square, suggesting a window, sign.coulb be a store's name. I keep in mind that we see something and we could think to something else by the way it's suggested. It's a game for me. Sign. comes to make a counterbalance too and something the woman just have past, giving a certain speed. Imagine her without this sign. I think it's empty. Sign in my painting is made oftenly with color spots and is a part of the comp. I, as Alfred Hitchcock, like to be in my film.hahaha!! The color's creation or the feeling is more important than the subject itself for me which is just something we need to do a painting. Tell me what you think about this!
